1. Introduction SayNeed (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Platform”) is a multi-service digital marketplace where users can buy and sell products, book professional services, seek or post jobs, list used goods, and use related features.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, with whom we may share it, and what rights you have.
By using the Platform or creating an account, you acknowledge this Policy and, where required by applicable law, consent to the processing described here.

browse as guests; create an account as a customer/buyer, seller, service provider, job seeker, recruiter, reseller, or any other role; use the website or mobile app; interact via support tickets, chat, reviews, or other features. 3. We generally do not store full card numbers; payment gateways process card payments.
4. How we use your information We use personal information to:
Create and manage accounts, login, MFA, and sessions; Process orders, bookings, returns/refunds, wallets, and subscriptions; Process payments and help prevent fraud or misuse; Enable delivery/courier and location-based services; Support job matching and CV visibility (subject to your privacy settings) and recruitment workflows; Power chat, notifications (SMS/email/push), and customer support; Perform KYC/vendor verification and protect Platform security; Improve products/services, performance, and error analysis; Meet legal obligations and resolve disputes; Send marketing/promotional messages where you have consented (or as otherwise allowed by law). 5. Legal bases for processing Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data based on:
Consent (e.g. account features, location, marketing, social login); Performance of a contract (orders, payments, delivery, services); Legal obligation (e.g. financial/tax records, lawful requests by authorities); Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), balanced against your rights. 6. Cookies and similar technologies We use:
Essential cookies: login/session (e.g. accessToken, admin session, locale); Functional storage: language, location preference, search history, etc. (localStorage/sessionStorage). We do not currently operate advertising pixels or third-party marketing analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics) as a core part of the product. If that changes, we will update this Policy.

7. Sharing of information We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

8. International transfers Some service providers may process or store data on servers outside Bangladesh. Where we do so, we aim to use reasonable safeguards and contractual protections. For sensitive or restricted personal data, we aim to comply with applicable Bangladeshi requirements (including any data localization rules).
9. Data retention We retain information for as long as:
your account remains active; or it is needed for the purpose it was collected; or it is required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons. Account deletion: On request, we deactivate the account and anonymize personal profile/identity fields so you can no longer sign in. Records such as orders, payments, chats, and reviews may be retained for legal or business reasons. For a fuller erasure request, email privacy@sayneed.com—we will assess it under applicable law.
10. Security We use industry-standard measures, including:
encrypted connections (HTTPS); password hashing; session/token controls; optional MFA (two-step verification); access controls and audit logging. No system is 100% secure. Contact support immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.
11. Your rights Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
Access your personal information; Correct inaccurate information; Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; Opt out of marketing communications; Deactivate / request deletion of your account; Control CV/profile visibility (job-seeker settings); Manage location/notification permissions in device settings. Submit requests via app/web settings, or email privacy@sayneed.com. We may need to verify your identity.
12. Public information and other users Some information may be intentionally public or visible to other parties—e.g. shop/provider profiles, job posts, contact details on used-product listings, and reviews. You are responsible for what you choose to make public. Avoid sharing sensitive details in public or chat contexts unless necessary.
13. Children’s information SayNeed is generally intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor’s account exists, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
14. Third-party links The Platform may contain links to external sites or apps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices—please review their policies.
15. Changes to this Policy We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes may be notified on the site/app or by email. Please check the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes may be treated as acceptance where permitted by law.
