1. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account, accessing, or using SayNeed (website, mobile app, or related services), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
During registration and checkout you must accept these Terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
2. Definitions Term Meaning Platform / SayNeed The digital marketplace operated by SayNeed, including web and Flutter apps User Any person or entity using the Platform Customer / Buyer User who purchases products or books services Seller User who lists and sells new products Reseller User who lists used/second-hand products Service Provider User who offers professional services Job Seeker User seeking employment Recruiter User or company posting jobs Listing Product, used item, service, or job posted on the Platform Wallet In-platform balance for payments, refunds, and withdrawals 3. Nature of the Platform SayNeed is a multi-service digital marketplace connecting buyers, sellers, resellers, service providers, job seekers, and recruiters in Bangladesh.
SayNeed does not:
Own, manufacture, or sell products itself (except where clearly stated) Employ service providers as staff for booked services Guarantee employment outcomes for job seekers or recruiters Operate its own delivery riders; delivery is via third-party couriers (e.g. Pathao and other partners) SayNeed acts as an intermediary / facilitation platform. Contracts for products, services, and jobs are primarily between Users. SayNeed may assist with payments, order flow, dispute tools, and support.
Tagline / positioning: “Your Need, Our Solution” — products, used marketplace, services, and jobs in one platform.
4. Eligibility & User Roles You must be legally able to enter a binding contract under Bangladesh law (generally 18+).
Users may operate under one or more roles:
Customer / Buyer Seller Reseller (used marketplace) Service Provider Job Seeker Recruiter Admin, Moderator, and Editor roles are internal and governed by separate policies.
You must use only the features allowed for your role and verification status.
5. Account Registration & Security Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information (name, phone and/or email, etc.). Verify identity via OTP (SMS/email) where required; social login (Google/Facebook) may be available. Keep passwords and OTPs confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Notify support immediately of unauthorized access. One person/entity should not abuse multiple accounts to evade bans, fees, or policies. SayNeed may suspend, deactivate, or ban accounts for fraud, abuse, policy breaches, or legal risk. Account deactivation: Requesting “account deletion” may result in deactivation (profile cleared; you cannot sign in). Records may be retained as required for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, and operational purposes, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
6. Identity Verification (KYC) Sellers, Service Providers, Recruiters, and other commercial roles may be required to submit:
National ID (NID) Trade license and/or other business documents Profile/company information False or misleading documents may lead to rejection, suspension, or ban. Verification improves trust but does not make SayNeed liable for a User’s conduct or offerings.
7. Products (New Goods) Sellers must:
List accurate descriptions, prices (BDT), images, and stock Not list illegal, counterfeit, hazardous, stolen, or IP-infringing goods Fulfil orders on time and honour stated quality Follow applicable shop return/shipping policies and Platform rules Buyers must:
Provide correct delivery details Pay through approved Platform methods Not abuse returns, chargebacks, or false claims SayNeed may set category commissions, platform fees, and auto-approval rules for listings.
8. Used Marketplace (Reseller) Resellers must describe condition, defects, and authenticity honestly. Fraudulent used listings are prohibited. Sales remain primarily between buyer and reseller; Platform payment and policy rules still apply when checkout is on SayNeed.
9. Services Service Providers must:
Describe scope, price, availability, and limitations accurately Deliver services professionally and on time Comply with completion processes (including customer OTP where required) Customers must:
Provide accurate booking details Be available as agreed Not misuse COD, cancellations, or dispute processes Warranty, refund, and dispute rules may apply per listing and Platform policy.
10. Jobs Recruiters must post lawful, accurate jobs and not discriminate unlawfully or collect fees improperly from candidates in violation of law/Platform rules.
Job Seekers must submit truthful CVs and application data.
SayNeed does not guarantee interviews, hiring, or salary outcomes. Users must comply with Bangladesh labour and employment laws applicable to them.
11. Payments, Wallet & Fees Currency: Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Methods: Online gateways (e.g. aamarPay, SSLCommerz), Wallet, and COD where enabled (especially services). Wallet: May be used for recharge, checkout, refunds, and withdrawals (e.g. Bank / bKash / Nagad subject to availability and verification). Commissions & fees: Category commissions, buyer platform fees, memberships, promotions, and shipping credits may apply as shown at checkout or in settings. Off-platform payments: Paying outside SayNeed (personal MFS numbers, cash side-deals, etc.) is strongly discouraged. SayNeed is not liable for losses from off-platform transactions. Memberships / promotions / ads: Fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Refunds, cancellations, and order settlements are processed per Platform systems and applicable policies. You authorize SayNeed and payment partners to process charges for your orders and fees.
12. Delivery & Couriers Product delivery is fulfilled through third-party courier partners (e.g. Pathao; other partners may be supported). Delivery times, coverage, and rider conduct depend on those partners.
Necessary details (name, phone, address, parcel info) may be shared with couriers solely to complete delivery. SayNeed is not the employer of courier riders.
13. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds Orders and bookings may be cancelled only under allowed statuses and rules. Product returns follow seller/shop policy plus Platform return workflows. Service refunds/disputes follow service and Platform dispute processes. Approved refunds may be credited to Wallet or original payment method as applicable. Abuse of cancellations, fake disputes, or friendly fraud may result in account action. (Recommend linking a separate Refund & Cancellation Policy when published.)
14. Subscriptions, Promotions & Vouchers Boosts, ads, memberships, and vouchers are subject to their stated terms, validity periods, and eligibility. Misuse of promo codes is prohibited. Unused or expired promotions generally have no cash value.
15. Communications, Chat & Reviews Users may message, review, rate, and upload content (images, documents, CVs, etc.).
You must not:
Harass, threaten, defraud, or spam Share illegal or infringing content Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings Scrape or misuse Platform data SayNeed may moderate, remove content, or act on reports. Chat and media may be processed via secure infrastructure and third-party processors (e.g. cloud media).
16. Prohibited Conduct Without limitation, you must not:
Violate Bangladesh law Sell weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, or other banned items Impersonate others or misuse verification Interfere with Platform security, APIs, or other Users’ accounts Use bots or unauthorized automation Circumvent fees, commissions, or bans 17. Intellectual Property SayNeed branding, software, design, and Platform content are owned by SayNeed or its licensors. Users retain rights to their own listings/content but grant SayNeed a non-exclusive license to host, display, and promote that content on the Platform for operation and marketing of the service.
18. Third-Party Services The Platform may use or link to third parties such as: payment gateways, SMS OTP, email, push notifications (e.g. Firebase), maps, courier APIs, cloud media, analytics/error monitoring, and AI-assisted tools (e.g. CV/shop helpers). Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. SayNeed is not responsible for third-party outages beyond reasonable efforts to restore service.
19. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Bangladesh law:
SayNeed is not liable for User-to-User disputes, product quality failures, service performance, job outcomes, or courier delays, except where required by law or caused by SayNeed’s proven wilful misconduct. SayNeed does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Liability, where unavoidable, is limited to fees you paid to SayNeed for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim (excluding amounts paid to other Users), unless law requires otherwise. 20. Indemnity You agree to indemnify SayNeed against claims arising from your listings, content, transactions, KYC submissions, or breach of these Terms.
21. Suspension & Termination SayNeed may warn, restrict, suspend, deactivate, or ban accounts for policy breaches. You may request deactivation via settings (OTP-gated where enabled). Outstanding payments, disputes, or legal holds may affect closure timing.
22. Changes to Terms SayNeed may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or in-app notifications where practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
23. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes should first be raised with support@sayneed.com. Courts in Dhaka (or as required by law) may have jurisdiction if unresolved.
